Love, Joy, Peace...
Vision Statement
We envision a Christ-centered community where the gospel is lived out through sincere love, joyful service, generous hospitality, and faithful peacemaking. We seek to follow Jesus together in a way that blesses our neighbors, strengthens our unity, and reflects God’s redeeming love to the world.
Mission Statement
We are called to live the gospel through sincere love, joyful service, generous hospitality, and peacemaking—blessing others, walking humbly, and overcoming evil with good as we follow Jesus together.
Core Values
1. Gospel-Centered Love We are committed to sincere, Christlike love that shapes our relationships, our ministry, and our witness, reflecting the heart of the gospel in all we do. 2. Joyful Service We serve God and others with glad hearts and willing hands, using our gifts faithfully and encouraging one another to live lives of devotion and obedience to Christ. 3. Humble Discipleship We follow Jesus with humility, seeking continual spiritual growth, honoring one another, and learning to live faithfully as disciples in everyday life. 4. Generous Hospitality We welcome all people with open hearts, open homes, and open lives, sharing God’s grace through generosity, compassion, and practical care. 5. Peace and Unity We actively pursue peace, unity, and reconciliation, choosing patience, grace, and understanding, and striving to live at peace with everyone as far as it depends on us. 6. Blessing Others We seek to bless rather than retaliate, responding to hardship and opposition with kindness, prayer, and grace, trusting God’s justice and mercy. 7. Overcoming Evil with Good We commit to resisting evil not with harm or bitterness, but with goodness, forgiveness, and love, bearing witness to the transforming power of Christ.
Beliefs
We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God. We believe in the Trinity, one God in the three persons of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of Jesus, the Son of God, who lived a sinless life, covered the penalty for our sins by dying on the cross, rose from the dead, ascended to heaven, and will return again. We believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are still available and in use today and that baptism in the Holy Spirit is available to all believers. We believe in the ordinances of communion and baptism in water by immersion.
